Nursery

This handsome boy started nursery this past Sunday, I can't believe it!  He is only 17 months, but I begged the nursery leader to let him try because not only did I know he would love it and do great, but also because he is IMPOSSIBLE to keep quietly entertained during Sunday School and Relief Society.  She agreed to let him come in if I came with him too for the first time, which I was planning on doing anyway.  Let me tell you, Nathan was in heaven!  Playing with an endless supply of toys for an hour, eating pretzels and bananas at a table his size on a chair his size, singing and dancing (his absolute favorite part), nursery was built for him!  He got so excited as they started each new new activity, he would look around smiling at all the kids like he was thinking "Are you serious? We get to eat?  Seriously? We get to sing?  Isn't this the funnest thing you'e ever done?!?"  He would also copy what all the other kids were doing, like banging their fists on the table or swinging their legs while sitting on their chairs, like he wanted to make sure he was doing everything right.  I loved watching him!  He is getting so big!

  1. Oh, he looks so handsome. I wish I was him. I love Naph-Naph.

I LOVE his little suit! I'm glad I get to see him in it, it was such a good deal. I can just see him lighting up with each new activity. SO cute! I'll cross my fingers that he stays just as happy when you ditch him. Haha! :)

  2. Stop it with that suit! He is too cute. Brenna was the same way the first time. I home this doesn't happen but Brenna quickly learned that I wasn't going to stay with her and she hated it for a solid 2 months. She would scream the entire two months. This past Sunday she finally went with out crying. I hope he continues to love it!

  4. Alli, I was thinking the same thing! I think from the nose down, he looks like Bradley. It looks like a Bradley smile to me. Not too high cuz of the cheeks, and you can see a little bit of teeth in his smile.

  5. And from the nose up, I think he has a bit of Kaleb to him.

  6. That will be nice for everyone that he enjoys the nursery so much (assuming he continues to once you leave him in there). I've never loved being in the nursery, but I was called to the nursery a couple of months ago, and actually didn't mind because it means I can bring Tristan along, who is a holy terror in the other meetings. I am supposed to be released soon, but I said there wasn't much point before he turned 18 months anyway.

  7. Oh my gosh, look at his outfit! To die for! I'm jealous that he just dove right in to nursery. I haven't taken Macie yet but I have a feeling it will be a bit more emotional for her. She's been on total stranger danger alert lately. You and Rach both had such great experiences, though, that it makes me curious to try it out!

  8. Crissy, I was thinking the same thing, somehow a mixture of Kaleb, Bradley, and Curtis. I still can't find Kare in there anywhere.

  9. Well then lets hope none of my other kids turn out to look like me, cuz the Curtis/Bradley/Kaleb mixture sure is cute!!
