Nathans First Photo Shoot

We took Nathan to get his pictures taken on Saturday, and I now have the feeling that it will be the first of many photo shoots! I was pretty clueless going in, I didn't know how I wanted him to pose, how many pictures to order, what I wanted him to wear...nothing! I think they turned out pretty good considering how clueless I was. But what can I say? He's so darn cute I doubt that it is possible to mess things up too bad. It only took us a short time to get him smiling, but after a while he got a bit fussy and eventually fell asleep, so he is asleep in almost all of our family photos. Oh well!

I wasn't planning on doing any family portraits yet because I still have quite a bit of baby weight to lose...and then some. But about 5 minutes before we had to leave to make our appointment I figured that we should dress appropriately in case we decided we wanted to be in the pictures as well. I quickly tried to throw together some sort of coordinating outfits for us using what clean clothes we had in our closets. This is the best I could come up with on such short notice...but I think it worked out alright.

  1. Those pictures all turned out great! Nathan is such a cutie in all of his pictures...I love that little smile. And you look beautiful! Nice work coordinating all of your outfits. I need to go get some family pictures taken...we haven't done any since Macie was born but I just keep picturing her screaming the whole time, so I haven't gone :)

  2. I love your background, your header, and your "borrowed" photos! That kid is so stinkin' cute! All these pictures make me want to pick him up and hold him. Why did you guys move so far away?! By the way, all is well... if ya know what I mean.

  3. Wow, your blog has had quite the facelift. I love all the pictures! What a good looking family. I totally understand scrounging for clothes. That seems to be a daily occurrance for us.

  4. Hey, I want to know what you mean..."all is well"...what the heck is that about? Are you planning to man-up a handcart company down to Arizona? Can Cha take off work for that kind of family fun?
P.S. Nathan is very very cute!

  6. I meant "all is well" in the poop-landing-in-the-potty-instead-of-the-underwear department. Kaleb is doing well! :) Jeez Kare, don't you listen to me?
