So I know I am a couple of months late on posting this, but I figure better late than never! This year for Father's Day I didn't put in NEARLY as much work as I did last year for Curtis' gift. Last year Curtis got the best gift ever on Father's Day, a beautiful baby boy! There really wasn't much of a chance of topping that, but Nathan and I did the best we could to make this year special too.
Nathan helped me pick out pictures to put in a card, and then hand delivered it to his Daddy. (I wish I would have taken a picture of that but it totally slipped my mind.)

Nathan also helped pick out a gift for Curtis, I showed him a few options on the computer screen and this is the one he chose to make:

which I think was a great choice! Curtis' final gift was from me, and while not as exciting as the birth of our first child, I thought it was still a pretty good gift. I mean, who doesn't like shirts?

Happy Father's Day Curtis!
Wait...WHAT?!?!?! Congrats!! Now it makes perfect sense why you didn't post this right after Father's Day...you weren't ready to share your good news with the world. :) So happy for you, Kare! How far along are you, how are you feeling, etc. etc.?
ReplyDeleteThis is Julianne.
ReplyDeleteYou're too funny Kare . . .
Jules -- for some reason when you call me "funny" I feel as though thats your nice word for "dork" :)
ReplyDeleteGina -- I'm 13 weeks, due Feb 24, and feeling terrible 98% of the time :)
YAY!!! Hopefully your morning sickness won't be as bad as last time's...
ReplyDeleteMajor congratulations!!!!!!! Keith and Vanessa are due February 15th. I love all these February birthdays!!! We'll all be able to get together and have one big massive party!!! Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteThat's so fun!!! I love it! And congrats again! The 23rd is my aniversary, so I think that is a great time to have a kid!!! Oh, and fyi, I did update my other blog: mikeandheidirobbins.blogspot.com. I can't remember if you had that or not!
ReplyDeleteWhat?!...YAY!! How exciting. So sorry you are feeling miserable. I hope that passes soon. I am so excited for you guys.
ReplyDeleteWell, what will you do for Father's Day next year?
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I am a bit worried about the precedence that I've set...
ReplyDeleteI would be even more worried about having to explain to Nathan HOW his Daddy was able to be a Father on Father's Day TWICE before Nathan had even turned one. That's a little fishy.
