I thought after living in Utah and despising the snow that I would never want to see it again, but I was soooooooo excited to see an inch of snow covering the grass as I woke up. This is the perfect type of snow there is. It only comes once or twice a year, it melts when it hits the sidewalks and driveways (so no shoveling or salting), and it will probably be gone after a day. What a wonderful surprise!
On a side note, Nathan has a bit of a cold. Nothing too bad, just a cute little cough and a bit of snot that's not so cute. He apparently likes to rub his face because I am constantly having to wipe snot out of his eyebrows...gross. He turned 6 months old on Monday and as a special treat we took him to the doctor. He is 14 lbs (3rd percentile) and 26" (I think...I couldn't find a pen to write it all down so I am going to have to do some measuring myself.) When the doctor walked in after looking at his chart the first thing he said is "well he's a skinny guy", but no worries, he is has gained adequately since switching him to formula and introducing solids. The shots weren't nearly as bad this time which was a relief.
We are moving today! Nathan's friend Lizzy (age 2...almost 3) will be watching him for a few hours, with the help of her mom. We are so excited to finally move into our beautiful new house, but I sure wish the move was over with already.
Anywho, that's the happs. Merry Christmas!

He's so cute! And I LOVE THE SNOW!!!
