I've given up on trying to take a flattering picture...it just aint gonna happen. So here I am, 35 weeks pregnant, as big as a house and still growing! I am now to the point where I am starting to freak out a little bit. "Full term" in 2 weeks? Already? Hopefully Nathan will be patient and stay put for the next 5 weeks...but it is pretty crazy to think that I am quickly approaching the "he could come at anytime" time.
I am starting to wonder whether or not I have everything that I am going to need. Crib? Check! Car seat and stroller? Check! Clothes? Check! Blankets? Check! Diapers and wipes?...working on it...What else?? There are other things that I would like to have, but I am just worried about the necessities right now. What am I forgetting?
Also, I am constantly looking for coupons for diapers, wipes, or anything else baby related. If anyone comes across any that they don't need please send them our way!
Overall I am still feeling pretty good. I get a bit light headed and dizzy at times, have the occassional abdominal pain, and get a bit short of breath at times...but all in all I think I have had a pretty smooth pregnancy up until this point. I feel very lucky! (Hopefully I didn't jinx myself...) Apparently I need to take more walks and eat better. I went from the doctors wondering whether or not I was gaining enough weight over the last 7 1/2 months to gaining well more than the acceptable "1 pound a week"...On hearing the news of my excessive weight gain these past two weeks I drowned my sorrows in chocolate cake...I just don't know where all this extra weight is coming from :)

LOL, oh Kare, you are so cute! Weight gain, Schmeight gain. Just think, in like 5 weeks, you will lose like 10-15 lbs OVERNIGHT!! I think your picture is really cute, and I am proud of you for WANTING pregnancy pictures. That shows how much more confidence you have than I do... that last sentence sounded weird.. oh well. Anyway... I can't wait to see you! I wish I could see you before ickle Nathan comes... *sniff sniff* I love you my dear. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute! I love your dress and you look good! I'm impressed you want Nathan to stay put for the next 5 weeks...I'm praying our little girl will decide she's sick of being in there and come out a couple weeks early :) (NOT gonna happen, though...I'm sure I'll go over). We're getting close!
ReplyDeleteI liked the picture so much (coupled with the fact you are 35 weeks pregnant) that I will ignore the word "aint" in your post. This, arguably, is the nicest thing I have ever done.
ReplyDeleteYou're havaing a baby right there. But Aunt Karalee already knows she has a baby in her. I talked to her baby and he said: Da-do Da-do. My baby doesn't have accidents, he's the same as me. Aunt Karalee, does your baby have accidents, and not accidents?
ReplyDeleteCute dress!! Did you get that at Ross? Guess what?! I DO have a coupon for you (only for $1.00 though). I got it in my goodie bag for running a marathon. Apparently the hard-core runners need to wear diapers so they can "go" while running without having to stop...Did I tell you that I didn't stop once to use a bathroom during the race? Hee hee...anywho Lefu, I am mailing it right now!
ReplyDeleteEthan - It sounds like my baby talks to you a lot, what else does he say?
ReplyDeleteAlli - Thanks! The dress was a mothers day gift from Curtis. And thanks for the coupon, every dollar helps :) You went 5 hours without going to the bathroom??? Very impressive, I can hardly go 5 minutes without a trip.
Hey Mrs. Merrill its yesenia your favorite person. I’m sorry it took me so long to write you but I just didn’t know how to write something in the blog thing (told you I didn’t know how to use it) but any ways I been reading all your stories you have been putting up and they are pretty funny/interesting to read. So how’s it going over, do you like it and stuff? School for me been going pretty good I got accepted into the cosmetology class at the tech center for next year and I went to a banquet for mesa and got a certificate for outstanding science student which i though it was funny since i dont like sciecne and i have a very hard time understanding everything in there , and math….. Well its going pretty good right now since we took the CRTS and we haven’t been learning much and when I did need help I went and ask him but I don’t really understand him as much as I understood you, at least its only a couple things I usually don’t understand its not like the whole section. I saw the pictures of the baby’s room and the crib is so cute especially the animal blankets and stuff(were the blankets the one we chosed) . Well hope to hear from you soon oh and if you want to email me, this is my email army2girl@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI think you look cute! You're allowed to walk in the desert? Aren't there rattlesnakes and scorpions and cow skulls? Those can't be good for babies.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and take care.
